Sometimes a single hope changes an entire life…
✨ EKO is one of the modern and effective methods on the path to having a child.
In the EKO process, an egg cell and a sperm are fertilized in laboratory conditions, and then the developing embryo is transferred to the uterus.
What stages does the EKO process consist of?
The EKO program includes several consistent stages:
- Ovarian stimulation — hormonal preparations are prescribed to obtain several mature egg cells at once;
- Follicle puncture — mature egg cells are retrieved from the ovaries using a special procedure;
- Laboratory fertilization — the egg cell is fertilized with sperm (or directly via the IKSI method) and the embryo is monitored for several days;
- Embryo transfer — the healthiest embryo is transferred into the uterine cavity; the procedure lasts only a few minutes;
- Pregnancy test — the result is determined via a blood test about 2 weeks after the transfer.
What does each stage depend on?
Every case is individual. That is why the EKO process is also determined based on the woman's health, age, and reproductive status. At every stage — from the stimulation dose to the timing of the embryo transfer — the doctor adjusts the program by taking into account the patient's individual response.
💫 What does success depend on?
The most important things are a correct diagnosis, an individual approach, and a trusted specialist.
The path to your dream sometimes begins with a small step.
